What is this service?
Home-Start Essex supports families with at least one child aged under 6 years struggling with difficulties such as post-natal depression, isolation, physical health problems, and bereavement.
They provide a Home-Visiting Service, Telephone Support, Family Groups, and Wellbeing Services. For example, through the Home-Visiting Service families receive the support of a volunteer who will spend around two hours a week in a family’s home supporting them in the ways they need.
