What is this service?
This is a fully inclusive service and welcomes anyone aged 18 years or above living in Essex.
If alcohol is causing problems in your life, then they can help. Whether you want to reduce the amount you drink, or how often you drink, or abstain completely, they provide a range of support that is designed around your personal needs and aspirations. They use tried and tested methods to help you to work towards your personal goals.
You can benefit from both 1:2:1 and group support. Essex ARC also has an in house counselling service. If appropriate they will link you up with local partner organisations for specialist support.
They can also support family, friends and carers affected by a loved one’s drinking and can refer to more specialist family support.
